Never leave your fire unattended, and only burn firewood—no garbage or other materials. For your safety and convenience, each fire pit is equipped with a steel spark screen and comes with tongs, a shovel, 5 gallons of water, and a metal ash bucket. The interior of every dome has a fire extinguisher and smoke detector. Absolutely no smoking, candle burning, or incense inside of the domes.
From February 15th to April 30th, Virginia’s 4pm Burning Law prohibits open-air fires before 4pm during the day. Guests at Camp Yellow Cardinal must utilize the provided spark screen if they want to have a campfire before 4pm. Enjoy your fire responsibly!
